Ole Gabriel Rasch (born 8 April 1976) is a Norwegian former road bicycle racer, who currently works as a directeur sportif for UCI WorldTeam .[2]

Career

Rasch was born in Hole, Norway. For his first three professional contracts, Rasch was a teammate of countryman Thor Hushovd, and he has credited Hushovd with helping him break into the professional ranks.[3] He won the Norwegian National Road Race Championship in 2003.[4]

Rasch left at the end of the 2012 season, and was scheduled to join the new team for the 2013 season.[5] However, it was later announced that Rasch was joining instead.[6] It was announced in October 2013, that Rasch would retire from cycling during the 2014 season, to become a directeur sportif with .[7] Rasch completed his professional career with a 117th-place finish in Paris–Roubaix.[1]

Personal life

Rasch currently resides in Monaco.[8]
