The disc, ''Southwest Holiday'' benefited Central Arizona Shelter Services, a homeless shelter in Phoenix. "Our goal," said Hilker, "was to unite the music community and do something positive."<ref>{{Cite news|title=Junior Wells, Now a Senior, Still Harping|last=Caputo|first=Salvatore|date=November 25, 1990|work=The Arizona Republic|page=64}}</ref><ref>{{Cite news|title=Scottsdale Label to Put Out Christmas Benefit Album|last=Caputo|first=Salvatore|date=August 19, 1990|work=The Arizona Republic|page=71}}</ref><ref name=":1">{{Cite web|url=https://www.azcentral.com/story/entertainment/music/2019/01/18/fervor-records-taking-phoenix-music-hollywood-glass-green-room/2597940002/|title=Fervor Records uncovers long-lost gems in Phoenix music scene|website=Amp.azcentral.com|access-date=2019-02-14}}</ref>
