It is {{convert|3|km|mi|0|abbr=on}} due west of Mount Lamlam, and {{convert|5|km|mi|0|abbr=on}} north of Umatac village. The point was designated a National Natural Landmark in 1972.<ref>{{Cite web|url= https://www.nps.gov/subjects/nnlandmarks/site.htm?Site=FAPO-GU |title= Facpi Point |publisher= National Park Service |work= nps.gov}}</ref> Facpi Point marks the southern end of Agat Bay, as well as an end point of the boundary between the villages of Agat and Umatac. A small islet, Facpi Island, is off the tip of the point.
