'''Evan MacCormick''' (15 March 1882 – 13 November 1918) was a New Zealand cricketer. MacCormick was educated at Auckland Grammar School and became a barrister and solicitor, a partner in an Auckland law firm.<ref name=AS>{{cite journal |title=Mr. Evan MacCormick |journal=Auckland Star |date=13 November 1918 |page=4 |url=https://paperspast.natlib.govt.nz/newspapers/AS19181113.2.27}}</ref> His highest first-class score was 77, the highest score in the match, when Auckland lost narrowly to the touring MCC in 1906-07.<ref>{{cite web |title=Auckland v MCC |url=https://cricketarchive.com/Archive/Scorecards/7/7201.html |website=CricketArchive |accessdate=13 January 2020}}</ref> He was the outstanding batsman of the Auckland Cricket Association competition in 1914–15, scoring 809 runs at an average of 101.12, with four centuries.<ref>{{cite journal |title=The Season Reviewed |journal=Auckland Star |date=3 April 1915 |page=16 |url=https://paperspast.natlib.govt.nz/newspapers/AS19150403.2.118.2}}</ref>

MacCormick died in November 1918 after contracting influenza and then pneumonia.<ref name=AS/>
