==Geography== The town is located along Alabama State Route 63, which runs from south to north through the center of town, leading northeast {{convert|26|mi|km|abbr=on}} to Alexander City and southwest {{convert|5|mi|km|abbr=on}} to the unincorporated community of Claud. Alabama State Route 170 connects the town to Wetumpka, the Elmore County seat, {{convert|15|mi|km|abbr=on}} to the southwest.
