==The EATAW Conference==
The EATAW conference is held every two years in a European University. It was first held in 2001 in Groningen. The occasion of the bi-annual conference is when the EATAW board is elected for a term of two years.<ref>{{Cite web |title=European Association for the Teaching of Academic Writing |url=http://www.eataw.eu/eataw-board.html |url-status=dead |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20140810130530/http://www.eataw.eu/eataw-board.html |archive-date=10 August 2014 |access-date=30 July 2014}}</ref> It also has an active listserv where dynamic conversations occur on timely topics about academic writing in higher education.
