==Leinster== Donnellan was named in the Leinster Rugby academy for the 2013–14 season. He left the academy and joined Biarritz playing for two seasons in the ProD2 in France. He moved back to Dublin in 2016 playing for local club Clontarf and then moved to Leeds Tykes for a season in 2018-19 before returning to Ireland to play again for Clontarf in the AIL League.
