==Career== Bloodsport, Fist of Fury and The Way of the Dragon were some of the films that inspired Douglas Brose to learn about and train some martial art. His first important medal was obtained at the 2007 Pan American Games, when he won a bronze medal. Brose won the silver medal in the men's kumite 60 kg event at the 2022 World Games held in Birmingham, United States. At 37 years old, he competed in the last fights of his career at the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago and said goodbye after winning the bronze medal.
