The team competes in the M19 Eredivisie, the highest level of youth basketball in the Netherlands. The team plays their matches in the Sporthal Vinkhuizen.
Many players that came through the Donar youth teams later became professional basketball players, like Rienk Mast, Kjeld Zuidema and Tim Hoeve.
