'''''Discula destructiva''''' is a fungus in the family Gnomoniaceae which causes dogwood anthracnose, affecting populations of dogwood trees native to North America.<ref>{{Cite web |last=SLJ |date=January 2015 |title=Dogwood Anthracnose: Discula destructiva |url=https://plantclinic.cornell.edu/factsheets/dogwoodanthracnose.pdf |access-date=22 January 2023 |website=plantclinic.cornell.edu |archive-date=22 January 2023 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20230122144138/http://plantclinic.cornell.edu/factsheets/dogwoodanthracnose.pdf |url-status=live }}</ref>
It was introduced to the United States in 1978 and is distributed throughout the Eastern United States and the Pacific Northwest. Its origins are unknown.<ref>{{Cite web |title=Dogwood Anthracnose {{!}} National Invasive Species Information Center |url=https://www.invasivespeciesinfo.gov/profile/dogwood-anthracnose |access-date=22 January 2023 |website=www.invasivespeciesinfo.gov |language=en |archive-date=10 June 2020 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20200610115327/https://www.invasivespeciesinfo.gov/profile/dogwood-anthracnose |url-status=live }}</ref> It typically occurs in cool, wet spring and fall weather.
