His 1959 film ''Astero'' was entered into the 9th Berlin International Film Festival. His 1960 film ''Madalena'' was entered into the 1961 Cannes Film Festival.<ref name="festival-cannes.com">{{Cite web|url=http://www.festival-cannes.com/en/archives/ficheFilm/id/3251/year/1961.html |title=Festival de Cannes: Madalena |access-date=21 February 2009|work=festival-cannes.com}}</ref> He wrote also some theatrical plays.
