==History== The party was founded in 1999 and participated in the [[1999 Armenian parliamentary election]]s. Following the elections, the party won 3.25% of the popular vote, but failed to win any seats in the [[National Assembly of Armenia|National Assembly]].
Prior to the [[2003 Armenian parliamentary election]], the party formed a political alliance with the People's Democratic Party, known as the [[Dignity, Democracy, Motherland]] alliance. The alliance nominated [[Armen Darbinyan]] as its Chairman.
