{{Short description|US Space Force project}} '''Deep Space Advanced Radar Capability''', or DARC, is a US Space Force project in partnership with Australia and the United Kingdom using Northrop Grumman as the main contractor. DARC purpose is to improve the detection and visibility of satellites, objects, space debris, and track activity in geosynchronous orbit. The ground-based system is expected to be fully operational by 2027 using three radars and ultimately deploying 27 parabolic antennas working in tandem to create a large detection array with increased capabilities over present deep space detection systems.<ref>{{Cite web|url=https://www.defensenews.com/space/2025/08/15/deep-space-radar-hits-key-testing-milestone/|title=Deep-space radar hits key testing milestone|first=Courtney|last=Albon|date=August 15, 2025|website=Defense News}}</ref><ref>{{Cite web|url=https://www.c4isrnet.com/battlefield-tech/space/2022/02/23/us-space-force-awards-contract-for-deep-space-radar/|title=US Space Force awards contract for deep-space radar|first=Courtney|last=Albon|date=February 23, 2022|website=C4ISRNet}}</ref><ref>{{Cite web|url=https://www.c4isrnet.com/battlefield-tech/space/2023/05/18/space-force-may-seek-new-bidders-for-future-deep-space-radars/|title=Space Force may seek new bidders for future deep-space radars|first=Courtney|last=Albon|date=May 18, 2023|website=C4ISRNet}}</ref><ref> {{Cite web |title=Deep Space Advanced Radar Capability Makes Tremendous Progress in First Year |url=https://www.ssc.spaceforce.mil/Newsroom/Article/4071000/deep-space-advanced-radar-capability-makes-tremendous-progress-in-first-year|first=Sodders|last=Lisa|date=2025-02-19|publisher=United States Space Force}} </ref><ref>{{Cite web|url=https://www.northropgrumman.com/what-we-do/space/ground-systems/going-darc|title=Going DARC|publisher=Northrop Grumman|first= Stephanie|last=Bright}}</ref>
