The '''Danjiang Bridge'''<ref>{{cite web |title=淡江大橋 |url=https://djbridge.thb.gov.tw/tw/mp-8.html |publisher=Highway Bureau |access-date=14 December 2025 |language=Chinese}}</ref> ({{zh|c=淡江大橋|p=Dànjiāng Dàqiáo|tl=Tām-kang Tuā-kiô}}) is a road bridge spanning the mouth of the Tamsui River, which links Bali and Tamsui in New Taipei City, Taiwan.<ref>{{cite web|url=http://www.chinapost.com.tw/taiwan/local/taipei/2015/09/11/445578/Danjiang-Bridge.htm |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20150915122028/http://www.chinapost.com.tw/taiwan/local/taipei/2015/09/11/445578/Danjiang-Bridge.htm |url-status=dead |archive-date=September 15, 2015 |title=Danjiang Bridge is expected to draw 300K residents to Tamsui |publisher=The China Post |date= |accessdate=2016-02-24}}</ref><ref>{{cite web|url=https://chinapost.nownews.com/20160110-25632 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20230425113320/https://chinapost.nownews.com/20160110-25632 |url-status=dead |archive-date=April 25, 2023 |title=Second phase of new Danjiang Bridge over Tamsui River begins |publisher=The China Post |date=2016-01-10 |accessdate=2020-05-25}}</ref><ref>{{cite web|url=https://www.taiwannews.com.tw/en/news/3310816|date=1 December 2017|first1=David|last1=Spencer|title=Taiwan's Top 10 man-made marvels|publisher=Taiwan News|accessdate=3 December 2017}}</ref>

The bridge was designed by architect Dame Zaha Hadid. It is a single-tower asymmetric cable-stayed bridge with a {{convert|920|m}} long road, rail and pedestrian deck supported by a single {{cvt|200|m}}-tall pylon.<ref>{{cite news|url=https://udn.com/news/story/7323/8932032|title=新北淡水淡江大橋主橋塔高2百米完工 進度達85%|language=zh-tw|publisher=United Daily News|author=許端驛|date=2025-08-11}}</ref>

==History== The bridge was commissioned by the Highway Bureau, and was designed to provide connection to the national highway system and to ease congestion on the Guandu Bridge that is situated further upstream. The construction of the bridge will also facilitate the expansion of the Danhai Light Rail, part of the city's light rail public transport system. In 2015, Zaha Hadid Architects, in collaboration with Leonhardt, Andrä & Partner and Sinotech Engineering Consultants, won the international competition to design the Danjiang Bridge.<ref>{{cite web |url =http://architectureau.com/articles/zaha-hadid-world-first-bridge-design-wins-competition/?mc_cid=5900ec4259&mc_eid=8c11c6ad66|title =Zaha Hadid's world first bridge design wins competition|last =Sian Johnson|date =18 Aug 2015|publisher =Architecture Media Pty Ltd|accessdate =19 August 2015}}</ref>
