== Geography == Collepepe is enclosed by walls and stands at the end of a hill overlooking the [[Tiber]] at a distance of about {{convert|1/3|mi}}. == Economy == In the mid-19th century agriculture was described as very active, and the plain divided by the Tiber yielded grain, legumes, acorns, livestock and construction timber, which was transported along the river to Rome. Collepepe was regarded as the wealthiest village in the municipality of Collazzone, together with [[Piedicolle]].<ref name="palmieri_19thcent"/>

== Religion and culture == The abbey church of San Pancrazio contains five altars, and in the high altar was a Madonna attributed to [[Perugino]]. Above Collepepe, on a hill, stands the convent of the Capuchin Fathers.<ref name="palmieri_19thcent"/>

The historic old town is located inside city walls. It contains the Romanesque-Gothic stone church of Santa Maria Assunta.
