The racial makeup of the village was 95.3% White, 0.6% African American, 1.0% Native American, 1.4% from other races, and 1.8% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino people of any race were 3.2% of the population.
There were 315 households, of which 26.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 46.3% were married couples living together, 9.2% had a female householder with no husband present, 7.0% had a male householder with no wife present, and 37.5% were non-families. 32.1% of all households were made up of individuals, and 13.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The racial makeup of the village was 99.58% White, 0.14% Pacific Islander, and 0.28% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.28% of the population.
There were 316 households, out of which 27.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 51.3% were married couples living together, 8.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 37.0% were non-families. 32.6% of all households were made up of individuals, and 16.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.26 and the average family size was 2.85.
In the village, the population was spread out, with 23.9% under the age of 18, 6.4% from 18 to 24, 25.8% from 25 to 44, 23.2% from 45 to 64, and 20.7% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 42 years. For every 100 females, there were 95.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 88.6 males.
