In is located on the Kolomak, the left tributary of the Vorskla, in the drainage basin of the Dnieper. ==History== Until 18 July 2020, Chutove was the administrative center of Chutove Raion. The raion was abolished in July 2020 as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, which reduced the number of raions of Poltava Oblast to four. Until 26 January 2024, Chutove was designated urban-type settlement.
