In 2011 the school's name was changed to ''Chiltern Hills Academy''. The specialist status of Performing Arts has been combined with Design. These specialist subjects are used to support a creative and enriched curriculum.
==School performance== In 2015, 51% of pupils achieved five or more A* to C grades including English and Mathematics at [[General Certificate of Secondary Education|GCSE]] level. At [[Advanced Level (UK)|A-Level]] and AS-Level, students attain an average 575 points.
