From 1946 to 1952, Garibaldi teamed with his brothers Ralph and Gino in St. Louis and California.<ref name="Cagematch"/>

On February 18, 1961, Garibaldi fought against Bruno Sammartino in a match at Sunnyside Gardens in Queens, New York. During the match Sammartino bodyslammed Garibaldi. Garibladi did not get up and the referee stopped the match. He died; he was 46. A medical examiner said that Garibaldi suffered a heart attack.
