The hamlet includes Catterick Racecourse and a few houses. The former Bridge House Hotel currently stands derelict after a fire destroyed a vast majority of the Grade II listed building<ref>{{NHLE|num=1318300|accessdate=14 May 2016}}</ref> in 2014.
