North Allegheny School District is one of the largest suburban public school in the Pittsburgh area. Located in McCandless, Pennsylvania, about 12 miles (19 km) north of Pittsburgh. It was established in 1948 and serves an area of 48 square miles (120 km2), including Marshall Township, McCandless Township, and the boroughs of Bradford Woods and Franklin Park.[2]
