On April 9, 2008 Smith was traded along with [[Chioma Nnamaka]] and the first round pick of the [[2009 WNBA draft]] to the [[Atlanta Dream]] for [[Ann Wauters]], [[Morenike Atunrase]], and the second round pick of the 2009 WNBA draft.
