'''CL Draconis''' is a single<ref name=Eggleton2008/> [[star]] in the northern [[circumpolar constellation]] of [[Draco (constellation)|Draco]]. It can be viewed with the naked eye, having an [[apparent visual magnitude]] of 4.96.<ref name=Anderson2012/> The distance to this star, as determined from its annual [[stellar parallax|parallax shift]] of {{Val|29.6|ul=mas}},<ref name=GaiaDR3/> is 110 [[light year]]s. It is moving closer to the Earth with a heliocentric [[radial velocity]] of −11 km/s.<ref name=deBruijne2012/> The star has a relatively high [[proper motion]], traversing the [[celestial sphere]] at the rate of {{Val|0.185|ul=arcsecond}}/yr.<ref name=Lepine2005/>

Based upon a [[stellar classification]] of F0 IV,<ref name=Cowley1969/> this is an aging [[F-type star|F-type]] [[subgiant star]] that has consumed the hydrogen at its [[stellar core|core]]. It is spinning rapidly with a [[projected rotational velocity]] of 165 km/s,<ref name=zorec2012/> giving it an [[Oblate spheroid|oblate shape]] with an [[equatorial bulge]] that is estimated to be 8% larger than the polar radius.<ref name=vanBelle2012/> [[Image:CLDraLightCurve.png|250px|thumb|left|caption=Visual band light curves for CL Draconis, adapted from DuPuy and Burgoyne (1983)<ref name="DuPuy"/>]] CL Draconis is a [[Delta Scuti]] variable, changing brightness with an [[amplitude]] of 0.010 magnitude over a period of {{Convert|0.0763|days|hours|abbr=off|disp=out}}.<ref name=Rodríguez2000/> CL Dra has 1.68<ref name=zorec2012/> times the [[mass of the Sun]] and is radiating 10.2<ref name=zorec2012/> times the [[Sun's luminosity]] from its [[photosphere]] at an [[effective temperature]] of 7,439 K.<ref name=David2015/>

It was transferred from [[Draco (constellation)|Draco]] to [[Quadrans Muralis]].
