==History== Club Deportivo Victoria was founded on 15 November 1935 in La Ceiba. The club started out as the ''Instituto Manuel Bonilla'' which later was renamed Club Deportivo Victoria. The club was founded by Jose Felix Sosa Sosa, native of La Ceiba. Throughout his lifetime he received several accolades, and awards for being the rightful founder as in later years he was no longer involved in the club. Due to power struggles with friends of the club he decided to retire early.<ref>Edición Feria Isidro. "Galería de Inmortales del Deporte Ceibeño". La Prensa, La Ceiba, 20 May 1992,p.28</ref>

Later Miguel J. Kawas became president leading Victoria to their league title in the 1994–95 league.<ref>{{cite news|title=Soñar es gratis |url=http://www.laprensa.hn/especiales/2007/torneo_apertura_2006_2007/sonar_es_gratis |publisher=Diario La Prensa |date=10 August 2007 |access-date=2007-08-11 |language=es |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20070928075729/http://www.laprensa.hn/especiales/2007/torneo_apertura_2006_2007/sonar_es_gratis |archive-date=28 September 2007 |url-status=dead }}</ref>
