Enrollment is approximately 425 students. The school is partnered with Make the Road New York,<ref name="maketheroad1">{{cite web|url = http://www.maketheroad.org/|title = Make the Road New York|accessdate = 2009-12-27|publisher = Make the Road New York}}</ref> Brooklyn College,<ref name="brooklyncollege1">{{cite web|url = http://www.brooklyn.cuny.edu/pub/index.php|title = Brooklyn College|accessdate = 2009-12-27|year = 2009|publisher = Brooklyn College}}</ref> and the Institute for Student Achievement (ISA).<ref name="isa1">{{cite web|url = http://www.studentachievement.org/|title = ISA: Transforming America's High Schools|accessdate = 2009-12-27|publisher = Institute for Student Achievement}}</ref> It was founded by Terry C. Byam, Matt Corallo, Matthew Ritter, and Mark Rush.
