The '''Bued River''' is a river in the island of Luzon in the Philippines with a total length of {{convert|80|km|abbr=on}}. The headwaters of the Bued River are formed in the southeastern portion of Baguio, where it covers 25 of its barangays.<ref name=EMB-CAR>{{cite news|title=EMB-CAR Prepares Preliminary Steps for Bued River as WQMA|url=http://www.emb.gov.ph/portal/car/NewsEvents.aspx|accessdate=October 3, 2014|publisher=Environmental Management Bureau - Cordillera Administrative Region|url-status=dead|archiveurl=https://web.archive.org/web/20141006145123/http://www.emb.gov.ph/portal/car/NewsEvents.aspx|archivedate=October 6, 2014}}</ref> It then traverses the municipality of Tuba<ref name=SunStar>{{cite news|last1=Fontanilla|first1=Giovani Joy|title=Bued pressed as water quality management area|url=http://www.sunstar.com.ph/baguio/local-news/2014/06/29/bued-pressed-water-quality-management-area-350971|accessdate=October 3, 2014|work=SunStar Baguio|date=June 29, 2014|archive-date=October 6, 2014|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20141006101903/http://www.sunstar.com.ph/baguio/local-news/2014/06/29/bued-pressed-water-quality-management-area-350971|url-status=dead}}</ref> along the foot of the Santo Tomas mountain range, where several tributary creeks join the river. The river enters the municipality of Sison<ref name=PIA /> upon reaching barangay Dungon, where the river begins to be heavily silted. A river dike has been constructed in the barangays of Artacho, Cauringan, Esperanza, and Poblacion Norte to prevent flowing into the town center. It enters the town of San Fabian upon reaching the barangay of Ambalangan-Dalin, then traverses the town of Pozorrubio, Pangasinan along barangay Balacag. It reaches San Jacinto along with barangay Santa Cruz and enters the town of Mangaldan upon reaching the barangay of Biagtan, where it merges with the Anglican River to form the Cayanga River, which empties into Lingayen Gulf at the border between San Fabian and the city of Dagupan.

==Pollution== Concerns have also been raised over pollution in the river, which is attributed to fecal matter originating from around 1,000 piggeries concentrated along Kennon Road, as well as a tributary creek near the Lion's Head monument that is used as a dumping ground for mining and quarrying waste.<ref>{{cite news|title=Baguio rivers remain heavily polluted–DENR |url=https://newsinfo.inquirer.net/1135390/baguio-rivers-remain-heavily-polluted-denr |accessdate=April 27, 2024 |newspaper=Philippine Daily Inquirer|date=June 29, 2019}}</ref>
