Benoit in 1977.<ref name=Beno1977 /> {{as of|2021|11}} it contains only three species: ''B. dubia'', ''B. jucunda'', and ''B. kirilli''.<ref name=WSC_g4080 /> It was synonymized with ''Clubiona'' in 1997,<ref name=Mikh1997 /> but was elevated back to genus in 2021.<ref name=Zhan2021 /> The type species was originally described under the name "''Clubiona dubia''".<ref name=Pick1870 />
