==Early life and education==

Born to Branislav Malagurski and Slavica Malagurski, Boris grew up in the northern [[Serbia]]n town of [[Subotica]]. Malagurski emigrated to [[Canada]] in 2005 and made a documentary film about his move from Serbia called ''The Canada Project''.
