==History== ''Black Nerd Problems'' or ("''BNP''") debuted on May 15, 2014.<ref name="BNP"/> Founding editors, Omar Holmon and William Evans, met in the summer of 2007. The two wanted to talk "nerdy stuff" and find other Black nerds who wanted to have a voice in the critique of pop culture. So, they created BNP as an editorial and informative website that focused on popular, nerd and geek culture from the perspective of people of color. Evans and Holmon were the primary contributors to the site's essays.
