William Steven Swain (February 22, 1941 – April 24, 2026) was an American professional football player who was a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL) for the Los Angeles Rams, Minnesota Vikings, New York Giants and Detroit Lions from 1963 to 1969. He played college football for the Oregon Ducks.[1]

Swain died from complications of dementia on April 24, 2026, at the age of 85.[2]
