Born in Mesa, Arizona, Allred threw and batted left-handed and was listed as {{convert|6|ft}} tall and {{convert|190|lb}}.
==College and minor leagues== Allred played collegiately at Lamar University. ==Professional career== Throughout his three-season career, Allred split time between the Indians and minor leagues. In 1989 he played in 13 games, in 1990 he played in four games, and in 1991 in played in 48 games.
