==History== The club was created in 2012 building their youth formation. Botev entered BBL, the second tier of Bulgarian basketball, for the 2023-24 season. <ref>{{Cite web |title="История"|url=https://botev2012.com/istoria/|access-date=2025-10-18 |website=botev2012.com|language=bg}}</ref> The club was promoted to [[National Basketball League (Bulgaria)|Bulgarian Championship]] for the [[2025–26 National Basketball League (Bulgaria) season|25-26]] season. Botev is a joint project between Municipal Vratsa and Municipal Botevgrad. For their first season, most of the player would be loaned from [[BC Balkan Botevgrad|Balkan Botevgrad]].
