Avni Spahiu

During the period between 2008 and 2012 he served as ambassador to the United States. He was the Republic of Kosovo's ambassador to the Republic of Turkey from 2012 to 2019.

==Biography== Spahiu was born in Mitrovica, Kosovo, on 12 March 1956.<ref name="alamb">{{cite web |title=Avni Spahiu CV |url=https://albanianambassadors.al/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/Avni-Spahiu-CV-English.pdf |website=Albanian Ambassadors |access-date=25 June 2023}}</ref> He graduated from University of Pristina in 1978 with a degree in English literature.<ref name=alamb/> He obtained his master's degree in literature from the same university in 2004.<ref name=alamb/>
