'''''Arturia compacta''''' is a species of calcareous sponge in the family Clathrinidae found in Mauritius.<ref>{{cite journal | last1 = Schuffner | year = 1877 | title = Beschreibung einiger neuer Kalkschwämme | journal = Jenaische Zeitschrift für Naturwissenschaft | volume = 11 | pages = 403–433}}</ref> This species is very likely to be synonymous with ''Arthuria canariensis'', differing only in its larger and thicker triactines.
