==Club career== Minou began his career with Almopos Aridea, signing for Kastoria in 1980, and two years later, he moved to Panathinaikos, where he became known to the general public and was called to the national team.<ref name=Minou>{{Cite web|url=https://athletestories.gr/author/antonis-minou/|title=ΑΝΤΩΝΗΣ ΜΗΝΟΥ|website=athletestories.gr}}</ref><ref>{{Cite web|url=https://www.aektoday.com/4-maiou-gegonota/1313-4-5-1958-gennithike-o-antonis-minou|title=4/5/1958 Γεννήθηκε ο Αντώνης Μήνου|website=aektoday.com}}</ref> At Panathinaikos, he won two Championships and three Cups. However, the difficult competition for a first-team place with Nikos Sarganis forced him to look for another club.

With AEK he won three Championships, one Greek Super Cup and one Greek League Cup.<ref name=AEK/>

==International career== Minou played in a total of 16 matches with Greece. ==Managerial career== After the end of his career he became involved in coaching, in the period 1997–98, he was initially the assistant coach of Dumitru Dumitriu at AEK Athens and after the later was sacked, he his replacement until the end of the season.
