==Career== Born in Montefiascone, Steni started her career as a child actress in the stage company led by Wanda Osiris.<ref name=tusc>{{cite book|last1=Franco Grattarola, Paolo Bianchini|title=La Tuscia nel cinema: film, storie, protagonisti|publisher=Melting pot, 2008|isbn=8890352302}}</ref> She debuted as a soubrette in 1942, in the revue ''Orlando Curioso''.<ref name=tusc/>
In the 1950s Steni started a long collaboration in radio, on stage and later on television with Elio Pandolfi.<ref name=tusc/><ref name=Cinecitta>{{cite news|last1=Cr. P.|title=E' morta Antonella Steni|url=http://news.cinecitta.com/IT/it-it/news/53/65796/e-morta-antonella-steni.aspx|accessdate=28 January 2016|work=Cinecittà.com|date=18 January 2016}}</ref> They were both part of the company Teatro Comico Musicale di Radio Roma, and in the 1960s they got a large success with a series of satirical musical comedies written by Dino Verde, particularly ''Scanzonatissimo'' and ''Urgentissimo''.<ref name=tusc/><ref name=Cinecitta/>
In the 1980s Steni formed a successful stage company together with Riccardo Garrone.<ref name=Cinecitta/> Steni was also active in films and as a dubber.<ref name=Cinecitta/>
