==Early life and education== Denaj was born in Tirana and graduated from the Tirana University with a degree in Financial and Banking Management in 1995.<ref name=chair/><ref name=bio>{{cite web|url=http://www.financa.gov.al/ministria/|title=Anila Denaj: Ministër i Financave dhe Ekonomisë|language=Albanian|publisher=Ministry of Finance and the Economy}}</ref>
==Career== Denaj worked at ProCredit Banks in El Salvador, Bolivia, Ecuador, Romania and Mozambique.<ref name=chair/> In October 2013, she became General Director of the Albanian Ministry of Finance.<ref name=chair/> She has lectured in human resources management at the Public Administration School since 2014.<ref name=chair/><ref name=bio/>
