Just over a year later, in December 2011, Mandal played for Nepal in the 2011 ACC Twenty20 Cup, making five appearances.<ref name="MIS"/> Nepal finished the tournament in fourth place and therefore qualified for the 2012 World Twenty20 Qualifier in the United Arab Emirates.
