==Biography== Eccleston (then Putt) graduated from Tecumseh High School with a modest 1600 metres personal best of 5:13.<ref name="rw">{{cite web |title=Amanda Eccleston Finds the Silver Lining in Fourth Place |url=https://www.runnersworld.com/news/a20816256/amanda-eccleston-finds-the-silver-lining-in-fourth-place/ |website=Runner's World |access-date=11 October 2023 |date=12 August 2016}}</ref> As a runner for NCAA Division II school Hillsdale College, she improved to a 4:15 1500 metres personal best and was a three time NCAA Division II champion.<ref name="rw" />
