The '''Altmann''' is a [[mountain]] in the [[Appenzell Alps]], located on the border between the [[Cantons of Switzerland|cantons]] of [[Appenzell Innerrhoden]] and [[Canton of St. Gallen|St. Gallen]], Switzerland. It is part of the [[Alpstein]] massif, situated north of [[Wildhaus]] (St. Gallen) and a few kilometres from the [[Säntis]].

The Altmann is a steep [[limestone]] tower, which rises about {{convert|1000|m}} over the valleys of the Alpstein. The normal route to Altmann starts at Rotstein Pass ({{lang|de|Rotsteinpass}}) at {{convert|2120|m}} on the north-west side and is considered an easy climb.
