==Career and research== From 2005 to 2009, Regier was a Research Fellow at King's College, Cambridge.<ref name=cv /> He joined Rice University in 2009 as an Assistant Professor and became a full Professor in 2019. He was editor of ''SEL: Studies in English Literature 1500–1900'' from 2011 to 2012.<ref name=reg1 />
