# Zorleni

**Zorleni** is a [commune](/source/Communes_of_Romania) in [Vaslui County](/source/Vaslui_County), [Western Moldavia](/source/Western_Moldavia), [Romania](/source/Romania). It is composed of four villages: Dealu Mare, Popeni, Simila and Zorleni. [Bujoreni Monastery](/source/Bujoreni_Monastery) is located within this commune, east of Zorleni.

## History

Zorleni was formed after June 2, 1602 when the publican Andrei Kiriac received as a gift from Irimia Vodă the place called Siliștea Zorileni to make a village there.
