# Ziyovuddin

**Ziyovuddin** (Uzbek: Ziyovuddin/Зиёвуддин, Russian: Зиадин) is an [urban-type settlement](/source/Urban-type_settlement) in [Samarqand Region](/source/Samarqand_Region), [Uzbekistan](/source/Uzbekistan). It is the capital of [Paxtachi District](/source/Paxtachi_District).[1] The town population in 1989 was 10,160 people.[2]
