**ζ2 Librae** (abbreviated Zeta2 Librae, Zeta2 Lib, ζ2 Lib), also known as **33 Librae**, is a variable [star](/source/Star) in the [constellation](/source/Constellation) [Libra](/source/Libra_(constellation)). It is approximately 260 [light-years](/source/Light-year) away from the [Sun](/source/Sun).[1]

Zeta2 Librae does not have an HR number, although it is included in the Bright Star Catalogue Supplement.[4][5]

## Characteristics

33 Librae is an [F-type](/source/F-type_star) [main sequence star](/source/Main_sequence_star), and show abundance of [europium](/source/Europium), [gadolinium](/source/Gadolinium) and [strontium](/source/Strontium) in the spectrum.[3] It is a [rapidly oscillating Ap star](/source/Rapidly_oscillating_Ap_star).[2] It bears the [variable star designation](/source/Variable_star_designation) **GZ Librae**.
