==Career==
Born in [Kharkiv](/source/Kharkiv), Potimkov is a product of the local [Metalist Kharkiv](/source/FC_Metalist_Kharkiv), [Arsenal Kharkiv](/source/FC_Arsenal_Kharkiv) and [Metalist 1925 Kharkiv](/source/FC_Metalist_1925_Kharkiv) youth sportive school systems.

He played for amateurs FC Avanhard Kharkiv in the championship of the [Kharkiv Oblast](/source/Kharkiv_Oblast), but in July 2021 Potimkov signed a contract with the [Ukrainian Premier League](/source/Ukrainian_Premier_League) side [Metalist 1925 Kharkiv](/source/FC_Metalist_1925_Kharkiv).
