**Yurick Seinpaal** (born 12 November 1995) is a Bonairean [footballer](/source/Association_football) who plays for [Vespo](/source/SV_Vespo) of the [Bonaire League](/source/Bonaire_League), and the [Bonaire national team](/source/Bonaire_national_football_team).[1] With six international goals, Seinpaal is Bonaire's all-time top goal scorer since joining [CONCACAF](/source/CONCACAF) in 2013.[2][3]

## Club career

Seinpaal signed for [S.V. Uruguay](/source/S.V._Uruguay) of the [Bonaire League](/source/Bonaire_League) in 2013.[4] At the midway point of his first season with the club, Seinpaal had scored three goals in Uruguay's first eight matches.[5]

In December 2014, Seinpaal was signed by [Real Rincon](/source/Real_Rincon) who were reigning champions of the [Bonaire League](/source/Bonaire_League) for the [2014 season](/source/2014_Bonaire_Premier_League) at the time.[6] During his first season with the club, Real Rincon won the [Kopa MCB](/source/Kopa_MCB).[7]

In December 2015, Seinpaal traveled to Curaçao as Bonaire's selection to participate in the 2016 [MLS Caribbean Combine](/source/MLS_Caribbean_Combine),[8][9][10] a joint venture between [Major League Soccer](/source/Major_League_Soccer) and the [Caribbean Football Union](/source/Caribbean_Football_Union) which aims to provide opportunities for players from all CFU member nations to be observed by MLS and [United Soccer League](/source/United_Soccer_League) scouts with the hopes of being invited to the [MLS Combine](/source/MLS_Combine).[11] Following his tryout at the Caribbean Combine, Seinpaal was not selected to attend the MLS Combine.[12]

Seinpaal won his first league championship with Real Rincon for the 2016/17 season. In the final he scored the eventual game-winning goal in the 78th minute against [SV Juventus](/source/SV_Juventus).[13] He finished fourth on the scoring chart with thirteen goals during the [2017–18 Bonaire League](/source/2017%E2%80%9318_Bonaire_League) season.[14]

In April 2018 Real Rincon qualified for the [2018 Caribbean Club Shield](/source/2018_Caribbean_Club_Shield). In the club's opening match, Seinpaal scored two goals as the Rincon defeated [Hard Rock FC](/source/Hard_Rock_FC) of [Grenada](/source/Grenada) 3–1 in [Santiago de los Caballeros](/source/Santiago_de_los_Caballeros), [Dominican Republic](/source/Dominican_Republic).[15] He then featured in the club's next match, a 2–2 draw with [Avenues United FC](/source/Avenues_United_FC) which ensured that Real became the first club from Bonaire to advance to the semi-finals of a CONCACAF tournament.[16] Real Rincon went on to win bronze in the tournament.[17]

Seinpaal competed with Real Rincon in the 2018 and 2019 Kopa ABC. The new tournament pitted the league champions and runners-up of [Aruba](/source/Aruban_Division_di_Honor), [Bonaire](/source/Bonaire_League), and [Curaçao](/source/Cura%C3%A7ao_Prom%C3%A9_Divishon) against each other. Seinpaal scored in the tournament final victory over [CRKSV Jong Holland](/source/CRKSV_Jong_Holland) to win the title. In 2019 he scored against [SV Deportivo Nacional](/source/SV_Deportivo_Nacional) before Rincon was ultimately defeated by [S.V. Vesta](/source/S.V._Vesta) in the semi-final.[18]

In 2019 he made the switch to another Bonaire League club, [SV Atlétiko Flamingo](/source/SV_Atl%C3%A9tiko_Flamingo).[19] He was the [Bonaire League](/source/Bonaire_League)'s top scorer with the club in 2021 with nine goals.[20][21]

## International career

On 14 November 2013, Seinpaal made his international debut for Bonaire against [Suriname](/source/Suriname_national_football_team) in the 2013 [ABCS Tournament](/source/ABCS_Tournament). This match was also Bonaire's official debut after being accepted as a member of [CONCACAF](/source/CONCACAF) and the [CFU](/source/Caribbean_Football_Union) in April 2013.[22][23][24] In May 2014, Seinpaal was named to Bonaire's roster for [2014 Caribbean Cup qualification](/source/2014_Caribbean_Cup_qualification), the first CONCACAF tournament in which they took part after becoming a member. On 1 June 2014, Seinpaal scored his first goal for Bonaire during the qualification process, the first goal of a 2–1 victory over the [U.S. Virgin Islands](/source/United_States_Virgin_Islands_national_soccer_team).[25]

In December 2015, Seinpaal was named to the provisional squad by [Bonaire](/source/Bonaire_national_football_team) head coach [Ferdinand Bernabela](/source/Ferdinand_Bernabela) in preparation for [2017 Caribbean Cup qualification](/source/2017_Caribbean_Cup_qualification).[26] However, Bonaire ultimately did not enter the competition.[27]

In September 2018 Seinpaal was named to Bonaire's squad for the inaugural [qualifying campaign](/source/2019%E2%80%9320_CONCACAF_Nations_League_qualifying) for the newly established [CONCACAF Nations League](/source/CONCACAF_Nations_League).[28] After qualifying for the [2019–20 CONCACAF Nations League C](/source/2019%E2%80%9320_CONCACAF_Nations_League_C), Seinpaal started in the team's opening match against the [British Virgin Islands](/source/British_Virgin_Islands_national_football_team). His 78th-minute goal of the 4–2 victory made him Bonaire's top scorer since joining CONCACAF while the team's four-goal performance was its highest goal tally in a single match to that point.[3] Three days later he scored from a free kick for his second goal in Bonaire's first two matches as the team was defeated 1–2 by the [Bahamas](/source/Bahamas_national_football_team).[29]

In the [2021 ABCS Tournament](/source/ABCS_Tournament#2021_ABCS_Tournament) Seinpaal scored two goals for the Bonaire as the senior team defeated the [Curaçao under-20 team](/source/Cura%C3%A7ao_national_under-20_football_team) 4–3 in the first round.[30]
