**Young Stunners** is a [Karachi](/source/Karachi)-based hip-hop duo formed in 2012 by [Talha Anjum](/source/Talha_Anjum), [Talhah Yunus](/source/Talhah_Yunus) and with the music production primarily handled by Jokhay and Umair.

## History

The group consists of [Talha Anjum](/source/Talha_Anjum) and [Talhah Yunus](/source/Talhah_Yunus).[1][2][3] Both were born and raised in [Karachi](/source/Karachi). The duo got their education at the [Army Public School](/source/Army_Public_Schools_%26_Colleges_System), [Saddar](/source/Saddar) and have been friends since the age of 16.[4] The group was formed on 2 July 2012 and started releasing music in the same year.[5] Their debut singles "Burger-e-Karachi", a satirical take at the westernised and out-of-touch urban elites of [Karachi](/source/Karachi), and "Maila Majnu" were some of songs that became widely popular.[6][7][8] In 2017, they released their debut album *Rebirth*.

In July 2020, they collaborated with [Asim Azhar](/source/Asim_Azhar), [Shamoon Ismail](/source/Shamoon_Ismail), and Raamis on the track "Tum Tum".[9] In September 2021, they released the track "Why Not" as part of a promotional campaign for [Pepsi](/source/Pepsi).[10] In March 2022, they collaborated with [Faisal Kapadia](/source/Faisal_Kapadia) on the final track of the fourteenth season of [*Coke Studio*](/source/Coke_Studio_(Pakistani_season_14)) titled "Phir Milenge".[11][12]

Some of their major hits to date include: the collaborative [2021 PSL](/source/2021_Pakistan_Super_League) anthem [Groove Mera](/source/Groove_Mera) with [Naseebo Lal](/source/Naseebo_Lal) and [Aima Baig](/source/Aima_Baig),[13] their performance at the 2021 [Pakistan Day Parade](/source/Pakistan_Day_Parade)[8] and their music video "Afsanay".[14][15][16]

They are often credited for introducing [Urdu rap](/source/Urdu_rap) into the mainstream Pakistani music scene.[10][17]

In 2024, Young Stunners signed with [Mass Appeal Records](/source/Mass_Appeal_Records).[18]
