*Mulena Yomuhulu Mbumu wa Litunga* **Yeta II Nalute** was an African [High Chief](/source/Tribal_chief), king of the [Lozi people](/source/Lozi_people) and [Barotseland](/source/Barotseland) in [Zambia](/source/Zambia).[1]

## Biography

Yeta was a son of the Great King [Ngalama](/source/Ngalama) and grandson of Prince [Ingulamwa](/source/Ingulamwa) and was named after the king [Yeta I](/source/Yeta_I).[citation needed]

His brother was king [Ngombala](/source/Ngombala).[citation needed]

It is said that his divine ancestor was god [Nyambe](/source/Nyambe), king of the [Sky](/source/Sky).

He exiled at the Mashi, together with his mother, during his father's lifetime, and was captured and sold into slavery, but returned to Barotseland, after his father's death. He was drowned by his people for [cannibalism](/source/Human_cannibalism).
