**Yanting County** ([simplified Chinese](/source/Simplified_Chinese_characters): 盐亭县; [traditional Chinese](/source/Traditional_Chinese_characters): 鹽亭縣; [pinyin](/source/Pinyin): *Yántíng Xiàn*) is a county under the administration of the [prefecture-level city](/source/Prefecture-level_city) of [Mianyang](/source/Mianyang), in the northeast of [Sichuan Province](/source/Sichuan), China.

It has an area of 1645 square kilometers, and a population of 590,000 in 2002. The population dropped to around 370,000 in 2020.
