**Yanis Begraoui** (born 4 July 2001) is a professional [footballer](/source/Association_football) who plays as a [forward](/source/Forward_(association_football)) for [Primeira Liga](/source/Primeira_Liga) club [Estoril Praia](/source/G.D._Estoril_Praia). Born in France, he represents Morocco at youth level.

## Club career

A youth product of FC Étampes and CS Brétigny, Begraoui signed with [Auxerre](/source/AJ_Auxerre) in the summer of 2017.[2] At the age of 16, he made his professional debut for the club in a 2–1 [Ligue 2](/source/Ligue_2) loss to [Clermont](/source/Clermont_Foot) on 13 April 2018.[3]

In the [2021–22 season](/source/2021%E2%80%9322_Toulouse_FC_season), Begraoui won Ligue 2 with [Toulouse](/source/Toulouse_FC).[4]

On 29 January 2023, Begraoui was loaned to [Pau](/source/Pau_FC) in [Ligue 2](/source/Ligue_2) until the end of the 2022–23 season.[5]

In January 2024, he returned to Pau on loan until the end of the season.[6]

In July 2024, he signed a four-year deal with [Estoril Praia](/source/G.D._Estoril_Praia) in Portugal.[7]

## International career

Begraoui was born in France and is of Moroccan descent, with roots in the Moroccan city [Meknes](/source/Meknes).[8] He is a former France youth international.[9] He was called up to the [Morocco U23s](/source/Morocco_national_under-23_football_team) in March 2023.[10]

In June 2023, he was included in the final squad of the [under-23 national team](/source/Morocco_national_under-23_football_team) for the [2023 U-23 Africa Cup of Nations](/source/2023_U-23_Africa_Cup_of_Nations), hosted by Morocco itself;[11][12] he scored in the 2–1 final win over [Egypt](/source/Egypt_national_under-23_football_team), which helped the *Atlas Lions* win their first title[13][14][15] and qualify for the [2024 Summer Olympics](/source/2024_Summer_Olympics).[13][16]
